The Town of Balcarres currently offers the following tax incentives on new builds:

1. Sunset West Subdivision 

New homes built in this subdivision within 1 year from the date the lot was purchased, will be eligible for 100% Tax Concession on the first years taxes.

2. Developed areas in Town

Lots owned by the Town of Balcarres in the developed parts of town will be sold for $5,000.00 with a rebate of $4,999.00 being issued if a new build occurs within 1 year from the date of purchase.

3. Tax Exemptions 

All new builds in any area of town (commercial or residential) will be eligible for 100% Tax Concession on the first years taxes, with a stipulation to build within 1 year from the date of purchase (private sales included).
